Heritage Digital Twins for 4CH

Started in 2021, the 4CH project studies the conditions for the creation of a Center of Competence for the Conservation of Cultural heritage. An important dimension of this center is the organization and management of all the knowledge associated with cultural heritage items. Sorin Hermon will show how the notion of digital twin can be applied to this field, to facilitate a holistic approach to heritage assets. This presentation is based on the following article, co-authored by Franco Niccolucci and Achille Felicetti: Populating the Data Space for Cultural Heritage with Heritage Digital Twins (Data 2022, 7, 105, https://doi.org/10.3390/data7080105).
